Social Justice Training

Diversity & Social Justic Training

Anti-discrimination & Intersectionality
Diversity & Social Justice Training is characterised by a specific theoretical framework combined with different anti-bias methods. The training focuses on the intersections of different forms of discrimination, such as racism, classism, sexism, ableism and ageism. The aim is to develop strategies against discrimination. The training is based on the concept "Teaching for Diversity and Social Justice” and is aimed at all people who want to learn more about the connection between different forms of discrimination, take action against discrimination and develop strategies for their everyday life to counteract discrimination. This includes young people, students, social workers, teachers, creative industries workers and educators from all sectors. The training courses are usually offered as two- or three-day workshops.

Diversity and Social Justice

"The goal of social justice education is full and equal participation of all groups in a society that is mutually shaped to meet their needs. Social justice includes a vision of society that is equitable and all members are physically and psychologically safe and secure" (Adams, Bell and Griffin, 2007)
